Hong Kong

After two weeks at sea, we watched our last sunset over the ocean from our balcony.

Since it was the last night of the cruise, the dining hall did a special "dinner theatre" show. It was quite funny - they sang and danced while serving the dinner. Here is a picture of Brian with the menu and the chef's hats they gave us to wear.

We arrived at Hong Kong and disembarked. Here is the sight that greeted us!
We found our bus and headed off to see Hong Kong.

We quickly drove to the peak, known for its view of the city.
We then went to a market, where we saw, among many other things, Chinese calligraphy being performed.
We also toured the harbor itself, and saw houseboats, on which many people actually live. We stopped at Jumbo, the largest floating restaurant in the world. We also saw the beautiful city skyline and beach!

We also walked around Hong Kong for most of the evening, and only just got back to our hotel. Tomorrow, we leave for Xian on a flight at about 6:00 pm here, so we will explore more of Hong Kong tomorrow before we leave for the mainland.
